globus-compute-sdk & globus-compute-endpoint v4.11.0

New Functionality ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

  • The globus-compute-diagnostic and globus-idm-validator tools, which are installed alongside the endpoint, are now available on the PATH after installing the globus-compute-agent package.

Bug Fixes ^^^^^^^^^

  • Address issue with --detach where a daemonization-time race-condition resulted in file descriptors being incorrectly closed by the garbage collector.

  • Address an issue with --detach that would fail to start but also shut down an already running endpoint
