Nurudeen Abdulsalaam — Healthtech Builder

I build healthtech systems: APIs, AI-assisted workflows, and data products that help teams turn messy healthcare problems into usable software.

My work sits where health domain problems meet backend engineering, data, and product delivery. I care about building systems that are clear enough for users, reliable enough for teams, and flexible enough to grow beyond an MVP.

What I Build

  • Healthtech APIs and backend services for product, content, auth, and data workflows.
  • AI-assisted product experiences with careful safety boundaries and human-readable outputs.
  • Data pipelines and analysis workflows that turn raw health and product data into usable decision support.
  • Web product surfaces that help founders test, explain, and ship health ideas faster.

Selected Work

  • Fildah: Digital healthtech brand and product surface for product pages, documentation, blog/update content, support, and account access.
  • RxChat: AI medication chat assistant with streaming responses, anonymous/authenticated conversations, account flows, and healthcare-oriented safety boundaries.
  • SHODIC: Free, anonymous AI pharmacy chat app with RAG over drug data, streaming responses, and healthcare-oriented safety boundaries. Built with Django, React, and LLMs.
  • Healteex: Pharmaceutical supply-chain SaaS for Nigeria — AI demand forecasting, inventory management, and DHIS2/OpenLMIS integration.
  • CardioCare: CVD risk assessment and management web app with personalised dashboards, lifestyle recommendations, and progress tracking.

Data & Analysis

Alongside product work, I do exploratory and epidemiological analysis on health and mobility datasets — including COPD mortality rate comparisons across the US and Uganda using WHO age-standardisation methodology, and a 5.9M-record EDA of Chicago Divvy bike-share data with marketing strategy recommendations.

Core Stack

  • Backend: Python, Django, Django REST Framework, PostgreSQL, SQLite
  • Frontend: React, Vite, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML/CSS
  • AI/Data: PyTorch, TensorFlow, RAG, LLM integration, Prefect, Qdrant, Docling
  • Tools: Git, GitHub, Docker, Render, Vercel, VPS

Let's Build

If you're a founder or team building a practical healthtech product — especially where the work spans APIs, data, AI workflows, and product judgment — I'd like to talk.
